The Kilwins promise is the same today as when Don & Katy Kilwin first opened in 1947 in Petoskey, MI: “We promise to make the best possible chocolates, fudge & ice cream!” Today we still follow these original recipes, using quality ingredients like fresh cream from American dairy farms and the highest quality chocolate and cocoa beans from around the world. Kilwins “Hand-Made Chocolates”, our famous “Mackinac Island Fudge”, made-in-store products like “The Perfect Caramel Apple”, nut brittles and caramel corns, and our “Original Recipe Ice Cream” continue the Kilwins tradition of being a feast for the senses, so what was true in the past remains true today, that Kilwins is “Sweet in Every Sense since 1947!”

I was born and raised in Michigan and all Michiganders know that Mackinac Island Fudge is the best fudge in the world. I can’t wait to take my visitors to Kilwins.
