McGrady’s Pub
McGrady’s Pub has expanded their hours and is now open for lunch. The new hours are 11am – 9pm, still Wednesday through Sunday. I’ve been told the full 7-day schedule is coming soon!
In addition to the expanded hours, McGrady’s Pub has also updated their menu. Check it out here. I am loving all of the salads featuring produce from our very own The Villages® Grown. The Mains and Sandwiches all look great too, and did you see those Desserts? Sticky Toffee Pudding has been on my list of things to try for awhile. I see Wednesdays are Half Price on Bottles of Wine that are $60 or less. While I’m not a whiskey connoisseur, their selection includes two different flights and the rest is broken down by region. Slàinte Mhath!
You can also enjoy live music daily on their outdoor patio from 3pm-5pm. Take a look at the schedule and find your favorite local musicians.
I still haven’t made my way to McGrady’s for dinner (or lunch) yet and hope to do it soon. If you’ve been there, tell me what’s your favorite dish? Do you have a favorite cocktail also? For an establishment that promotes a huge scotch collection, they have no well drinks on happy hour, only wine and beer. The same person who owns McGrady’s also owns the bar inside Sawgrass. Same situation…..serious price gouging going on at both places…..You would think a smart business owner would start with low prices to draw the crowds in then slowly raise as necessary. That’s not what’s happening here…they are actually driving folks like me and many others away. Foolish greed!
